Meet Dave

I have been a bridge teacher since the early seventies and owner, manager and director of The Prince of Wales Duplicate Bridge Club in Ottawa since 1978.

I am the syndicated bridge columnist of the Toronto Star and have written over 8600 columns for the newspapers. I have been the Toronto Star’s bridge columnist for many years starting in 1999.

I have represented Canada in the Bermuda Bowl and at the World Championships.

Bridge has engulfed my life since the tender age of sixteen but I have not played competitively for many years as a consequence of a busy schedule.
